Taking Care Of Families

Beyond salary, education and housing benefits, there are valuable Army family support services for Soldiers and their families. These include, but are not limited to, support groups, counseling, and training for you and your families.

We serve as a delivery point for information, communication, and support of national, state and community resources to warfighters and their families in a global environment.

The intent of this legislatively mandated program is to prepare National Guard and Reserve Service Members and their Families for the deployments, sustain their Families during the deployment and reintegrate the Service Members with their families, communities and employers upon re-deployment or release from active duty.

Operations Security (OPSEC)

OPSEC is a function of protecting information and indicators involved with our critical operations from falling into the hands of our adversaries. As a family member of our Georgia National Guard Community, you are a vital player in our success, and we couldn’t do our job without your support. You may not know it, but you also play a crucial role in ensuring your loved one’s safety. You can protect your family and friends by protecting what you know of the military’s day-to-day operations. That’s OPSEC.
