Service of Process
Service of Process According to O.C.G.A. § 50-21-35, as amended by SB74
In accordance with O.C.G.A. § 50-21-35, the Georgia Department of Defense (“the Department”) designates the following individuals for service of process for state civil actions:

COL Brian S. Bischoff – State Judge Advocate
MAJ Robert W. Brown – Judge Advocate
Ms. LaToya Westbrooks – Legal Administrator
SFC Joshua Starr – Chief Paralegal NCO 

A designee for service of process will be present Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, excluding state and federal observed holidays and other office closures, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. eastern standard time or eastern daylight time, whichever is applicable.
The Department may be served at 1000 Halsey Avenue, Bld 447, Marietta, Georgia 30060.
 
The above information does not apply to service of process for federal civil actions.
