The Air Dominance Center in Savannah is one of four Combat Readiness Training Centers in the Air National Guard. A location on the Atlantic coast provides access to 50,000 square miles of airspace, making it a premier training destination for fourth and fifth-generation fighter aircraft from all service components.
The center provides complete aircraft sustainment and support facilities for attending units, as well as lodging for up to 800 personnel. The combination of extensive military airspace, logistical capacity, and proximity to a large percentage of combat aviation units makes the ADC a facility of choice for exercises such as Sentry South and William Tell. The center has also served as a platform for emergency response operations.
