Interstate Transfer to the GAARNG

If you are currently a member of the National Guard and are interested into transfering to the Georgia Army National Guard select your path below:

Enlisted Interstate Transfer

Are you an enlisted soldier interested in transferring to or from GA? Please follow the steps below

  1.   Step 1: Complete your enlisted IST packet. Please work with your current readiness NCO to complete your enlisted IST packet. If you or your unit need assistance with your enlisted IST packet, please contact your current state's enlisted IST coordinator for checklists and templates.
  2.   Step 2: Contact the gaining state's enlisted IST coordinator. You don't have to find a unit in the state you're moving to because the gaining state's enlisted IST coordinator will find a unit for you once they have received your completed enlisted IST packet.
  3.   Step 3: Swear in. Once the gaining state's enlisted IST coordinator has given you a new assignment, reach out to your new readiness NCO to get the upcoming drill schedule and to coordinate getting sworn into the new state.
